He lays bare the secret of his youthful looks

Star gathering: Rajinikanth, K. Balachander, A.R. Rahman, G.V. Prakash Kumar and P. Vasu at the audio launch of 'Kuchelan' in Chennai on Monday.

CHENNAI: Superstar Rajinikanth on Monday said he would donate Rs.15 lakh to the film workers whenever his film was released.

Speaking at the audio release of his much awaited movie "Kuchelan", produced by Pushpa Kandasamy and Vijayakumar for Kavithalaya and Seven Arts and directed by P. Vasu, he said he owed his name and fame to his mentor K. Balachander. Vasu being an all-rounder, he took care of different departments in a meticulous way and so, everything went on well with the film, Rajinikanth said.

Referring to the ubiquitous question that everyone poses about his youthful looks, the superstar said that after 40 years, one must try to avoid all the 'white" things in food such as sugar, salt, rice, milk and curd. "With these, one must always have positive thinking and good words. "If everything is positive, one would not look old at all", he remarked.

The audio was released by K.Balachander and the first CD was received by A.R. Rahman, which was then handed over to G. V. Prakash Kumar, music director of 'Veyil.'

In keeping with the theme of the film, that is, friendship, top personalities handed over the film's CD to their respective best friends.

Rajinikanth gave the CD to his best friend Murali, Balachander to Bharathiraja, P. Vasu to Leo Christopher, Prakash Kumar to P.Vijay (director of "Kreedam") and Jagapathi Babu, who is doing the Telugu version "Kathanayakudu, " to his friend actor Arjun. G. V. Prakash Kumar said that he himself was a fan of Rajinikanth. "After the blessings of K. Balachander, I started my work. My guru and uncle A. R. Rahman is there with me always".
