While Kamal’s ten-roles for Dasavatharam still top the coffee table discussions, Simran is all geared up for her fourteen roles in tube. Simran’s TV debut Simran Thirai, produced by SaiMira and telecast in Jaya TV, will feature Simran in fourteen different roles for the short story titled Navavalli.
Navavalli is based on Hindu mythology and Simran plays Amman who is incarnated in many roles. Simran’s roles include, among many others, a florist, snake charmer, astrologer, old woman, auto driver, servant maid, nurse, and a disciple girl. The sitcom is directed by Arvindraj. Poovilangu Mohan, O A K Sundar, Anuradha Krishnamoorthy, and Subbulakshmi also play significant roles.
Simran Thirai is being telecast from Monday to Friday at 8.30 in Jaya TV.
Kamal's record doesnt even last for 50 days.
