DON'T ACCUSE RAJINI IN HASTE & REGRET IT IN LEISURE.

Friends,

Superstar has clarified about his speech immediately after the fast day.

I think within a couple of days of fast, I myself has seen that in
some Kannada channel wherein he clarified that he spoke against
miscreants only & people are mistakenly attributing it as if he spoke
against all Kannadigas. He also replied to the threat of not
screening his movies in Karnataka unless he apologises, saying that he
is not the loser and many Kannadigas also see his movies. He would
have thought that the issue would have rested with that clarification.
But obviously it did not.

When Kannada activists came to many theatres in Bangalore on 30th July
& threatened to stop screening of Kuselan and also told the theatre
managements that if any loss of property & damage happens to theatre
premises they should notbe held responsible, the situation became a
very serious law & order problem.

All of you should rememberthat Yeddyurappa, the present CM of
Karnataka, was the person who started the Hogenakkal issue in the
first place & he was the main target of Rajini's speech also.
Obviously, his govt. must have told the police not to give protection
to theatres screening Kuselan under the pretext that police is fully
engaged in providing security to citizens on a/c of bomb threats.
This may be true also because there are daily 2 or 3 bomb hoax calls
happening not only in Bangalore but also in other places in Karnataka.

Now, can you imagine what would have happened if Kuselan is screened
based on KFCC permission but without police protection and if Kannada
activists clash with Rajini fans & general public in front of Kuselan
screening theatres? A serious law & order problem would have emerged
which could have even turned into Kannadiga-Tamil riots within no
time. All this because of a movie & one person's perceived remark
against the entire state.

Is such loss of blood & property & creation of enimity between two
staes necessary & that too for the sake of a movie? What is more
important - human lives or one person's ego? These are the questions
which Thalaivar must have been asking himself?

Had it been Porukki Thamizhan in his place, that fellow would have
spoken some rubbish and added fuel to the fire without bothering about
the implications. Suppose if RowdyDas was in his place, he would have
sent KaduVetti Guru & MaramVetti Muru & their gang of rowdies under
the guise of giving protection to the fans which would have resulted
in enormous blood-shed & law & order situation.

But, fortunately, it is not all these IRRESPONSIBLE IDIOTS but our
kind-hearted, humble & noble Thalaivar, a true Indian & a Human Being,
who had to choose his options.

Thinking about all the above things only Rajini would have thought it
fit to issue YET ANOTHER CLARIFICATION at this time. So, there is
nothing new in this except what I have mentioned earlier & DEFINITELY
NO APOLOGY.

Even now, Thalaivar DOES NOT LOSE ANY MONEY. It is only the producers
& distributors & theatre owners who will be losing. All of us know
very well the very purpose of Rajini acting in Kuselan is to help his
mentor K. Balachander financially. So, by giving one more
clarification and without asking any apology, Rajini does not lose
anything but the producers & distributors also don't lose financially.

But, the media has mis-reported the clarification as apology &
immediately all Rajini-baiters & dithering-fans have jumped to their
own conclusions & started questioning Rajini's integrity.

Now, Rajini has been forced to clarify yet another time today (2/8/08)
& Rajini-baiters are not going to buy it because "they are
Rajini-baiters". It suits them if Rajini had apologised - so they
won't buy any more clarifications even if it is true.

Therefore, for people like Kaza, UNLESS YOU HAVE CONVICTION, YOU CAN'T
CONVINCE OTHERS. Of course, there is no need to convince a
Rajini-baiter. But, your message was framed as if you yourself is
questioning Rajini's integrity.

General public is NOT bothered about all these things as long as
Rajini is NOT into politics. So, its not fair to use general public
as a shield to protect our own naivity or fickle-mindedness.

My humble request to ALL FANS WHO HAVE ANY DOUBTS ABOUT RAJINI:

DON'T ACCUSE RAJINI IN HASTE & REGRET IT IN LEISURE.

With Luv,

Arun
