Superstar's accomplishment - Kuselan will be a bigger hit than Dasavatharam

What Rajini considers as his 'accomplishment' in his film career?
(Translation of DR Sharath Kannan)

Some people from the rival camp visit here and in the name of "comments" they pour out their venom. I am simply rejecting all their comments.

Though Kuselan is not as successful as Sivaji, it is in no way inferior to other actors' super-hit movies.

Kuselan being ridiculed by a group of jealous people, who did not accept the success of Sivaji itself, is not surprising.

A few wolves in the media who were eagerly waiting for the a slip from our side, taking undue advantage of our difficult times, have decided the fate of Kuselan - without even giving enough time for it to show its true response among the people - and trying to force their decision on the general public. Definitely their efforts will not bear fruit.

What is Rajini's achievement in film industry?
"There are many who have accomplished many things in Tamil film industry. They are present in this industry for a very long time. In comparison I feel that I have not achieved anything significant. After acting for so many years, if I feel proud of one thing that is - by God's grace - no producer has so far said I have incurred losses due to Rajini." This was said by Superstar on the event of Rajini25 function held to commemorate Rajini's 25 years in film industry.

As Thalaivar had said, after acting in about 150 films, so far no producer has complained against Rajini.

(Baba was Rajini's home production. Even in that, he had compensated for the loss incurred by the distributors and theatre owners. Accusing Rajini of being "greedy" by a website is certainly unforgivable.)

But, the ability of a "great" actor to make many producers bankrupt is a well known fact. The list of producers who have undergone losses due to that actor is pretty big. Just one sample of that is seen in this post.

This is an interview by Kalaipuli Dhanu to Kumudam magazine. In that he has detailed how that actor had made to increase the expenditure - and thus the budget - on the movie, how that actor had behaved irresponsibly and how much loss he had incurred.

I sternly warn that if the opposite camp does not stop spitting out their venom here, I will be forced to publish the entire interview in my blog.

This fact may not be known to many as this interview had come at a time when the internet and blogs where not that popular. Unnecessarily please do not make this interview a popular one by your actions.

Superstar's Magnanimity
A few days after this interview was published, Dhanu got a phone from Superstar. Rajini said - "Kamal is very great actor. You are fortunate to produce his film. Its not good on your part to criticise that actor in this way. I got very much disappointed on reading this interview. Please do not do this in future." Who will have this kind of magnanimity? If you have doubts on this, you can get that clarified by talking to Dhanu himself. After this incident, Danu's respect for Superstar increased manifold.

I do not want to degrade a good artiste
I could have posted this interview today itself. But, I have great respect towards Kamal - even more than that of my Thalaivar. Just to reply to his foolish fans I do not want to degrade him in any manner.

I have always welcomed just reviews and criticisms on our movies. Many of you know that. At the sametime, I have no compulsion to accept your views regarding Kuselan's fate at the B.O.

Kuselan Vs Maharasan
Whom are you praising by comparing a film in which Kamal has acted in 10 roles and Kuselan where Rajini appears for just about 45 minutes?

In my opinion, it will be fair to compare Kuselan with Maharasan alone.

Stop demeaning Superstar in filthy language
I hope the people from opposite camp will stop using filthy language to demean Superstar. If not, I will not be responsible for the consequences.
